Terms and conditions
Last updated: October 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by The Good Neighbour in Oakville, Ontario. By booking or purchasing a service, you agree to the applicable terms below.
Services & Pricing
Services are available within our Oakville service area and are subject to availability. Prices shown on our website are based on standard property sizes and service requirements. Larger properties, extended driveways or other property-specific requirements may require custom pricing. We'll always confirm your price before service begins. Applicable taxes are extra.
Snow Clearing
Snow clearing is available as a single prepaid visit or through prepaid 5-visit and 10-visit packages. Each visit includes your driveway, front steps and walkway, adjoining sidewalk and driveway windrow present on arrival. Visit packages are not seasonal contracts. Customers choose when to use their visits by requesting and confirming service before 7:00 p.m. the evening before. Visits are not automatic.
The snow clearing season runs from November 1 to April 1. All visits must be used within this period.
Lawn Care & Seasonal Services
Our lawn care season runs from May 1 to October 31, with regular visits according to your agreed service schedule. Weather or property conditions may occasionally require us to reschedule a visit.
Fall cleanup services are available from October 15 to November 30, subject to weather and availability. Pricing may vary based on property size, leaf coverage and other property-specific requirements.
Payments, Cancellations & Unused Visits
All services and packages must be paid in full before service begins. Snow clearing visits may be cancelled or rescheduled until 7:00 p.m. the evening before. Later cancellations may count as a used visit if our crew has already been dispatched. If we're unable to honour remaining prepaid visits, we'll refund their unused value, including applicable tax. Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements for other services will be confirmed before service begins.
Access to Your Property
Customers are responsible for providing safe access to the areas being serviced. Please remove vehicles and obstacles, secure pets and identify hidden fixtures or hazards before service.
Weather & Service Timing
Severe weather, road closures or unsafe conditions may delay or prevent service. We'll communicate significant changes and arrange an alternative service day where needed.
Snow clearing does not guarantee bare pavement or slip-free conditions. Customers remain responsible for monitoring their property and arranging additional clearing or ice treatment when necessary.
Our Commitment
We take reasonable care while working on your property and aim to provide services safely and professionally. If you have a concern about a completed service, please contact us promptly so we can review it with you.
