The Good Neighbour started with a pretty simple idea: take care of the people and places around you.
For Dave, that was already part of everyday life — stopping for a chat in the driveway, clearing more sidewalk than just his own when it snowed, cutting the grass for an older neighbour who needed a hand, or looking after a property when someone was on vacation.
It wasn’t a business plan. It was just being a good neighbour.
And that’s what The Good Neighbour is about — taking care of your property like we would for someone on our own street.

A lot of The Good Neighbour comes down to a pretty simple question:
if it were our home, how would we want things to work?
We’d want straightforward pricing, without rates jumping because a storm rolled in. We’d want the flexibility to call when we actually need a hand, instead of paying for more service than we need. And we’d want to know who’s showing up at our home — a local crew we can get to know, who do good work and take pride in the streets they work on.
The Good Neighbour is based right here in southeast Oakville.
This is our neighbourhood, too.
